‘In The Deep’ is part of my Luminous Skies series … really it was the start of transitioning over to the Ocean series. A friend of mine posted a photo of Avalon Beach where she visited every morning. I was so inspired by it I just had to paint it. The moodiness of the sky is something I’m always attracted to!

My inspiration has primarily been from nature and our connection to it. I truly believe it is so important.
