As Dusk Falls is part of a series of paintings I made about a camping trip. In the last couple of years I have painted while camping and have absolutely loved it. On our recent trip I didn’t take any painting materials partly due to no time and just thought I would have a break. So instead I took (even more) photos and made little landscape vignettes in photos. I took some of my favourite ones and painted them.
I love camping and being in the outdoors so much. The green open spaces, cool nights and sunset skies are all so wonderful. Bliss!
