Talk about movement and life! Making this painting definitely gave me energy and life. Fantastic. Those colours!!!

If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen a part of a small painting on paper I had kept and had on my studio wall for some time (it’s included in the photos for this painting). I kept spotting it out of the corner of my eye while I was painting and decided to paint it onto a large canvas… this is the result!

I loved painting it with it loose, runny paint marks and beautiful peach blush tones. I thought this must be what it looks like to be up in the clouds during the stunning colourful winter sunsets when the sky is ablaze!
